mike billie realization (not real tho)
mike knocks lightly on on the closed door in front of him "billie, are you in there?" he whispers just loud enough for someone inside to hear. "he's not in there mike" tre says as he reaches the door of billie's room, "he is, i know he is" mike says firmly to tre.
i hope he is, please be in there, mike thinks to himself.
mike knocks slightly harder on the door and it creakes open ever so slightly so u could see that there was very little light inside and the cool air rushed out as the door took up the unoccupied space inside. mike looks confused as he turns to tre, tre looks scared as he glances in the dark room.
"billie?" mike says tentitavely into an apparently empty room. still no answer.
mike pushes the door slowly open as he speaks again "bill, mate, its mikey" now tre pipes up "and tre" mike turns round sounding baffled "thought you u thought he wasn't in there", "i don't but its not the first time iv'e talked to myself" tre said matter of factly.
there was a sudden sound of movement from inside the room. mike turned and hurried in to find billie crosslegged on his bed with his shirt off scratching his skin.
"what are you doing in here alone?" asked mike caustiously as tre looked in and spoke quietly to mike " i'll leave you two to it" as tre left shutting the door behind him. mike went and sat directly infront of billie and picked up a book that was sitting in between them. the first page was blank. as mike started flipping through the book and found every other page blank aswell.
"I...can't think...of what to...write anymore" billie slowly said sounding as he will never see the light of day again.
"what do u mean?, you have so much to write about, you have adie"
"she left" billie says cutting in
"oh...why?" mike said a bit dazed by what billie just said
"she's over me flirting with guys"
yea like me thought mike to himself
"well you have tre, there's always something going on with him" mike says with a slight chuckle
"not good enough" billie said as he stared down at his legs
"oh...wel there's always me i guess but i'm not that great or exciting" mike said sounding slightly depressed at the thought.
"but thats the thing i can't stop thinking about you and i can't write anything because of you" billie said looking up with tears in his eyes that glistened in the little light that was in the room. mike looked confused "what?" and sounded kind of dumbfounded.
"you're always on my mind, i don't know why. i know you're my best friend and we've always been open with each other but i can't help feeling there's more. mainly on my part but still i don't know why i'm feeling or acting like this" mike reaches to wipe the nowfalling tears off billies cheeks but billie knocks his hand away.
"no. let me finish" billie said rather urgently as mike just sat there and listened.
"i...i...i think i'm falling for you mike, i mean for the past 18 yrs or so i've always loved you but you were always just mike my mate, but now i think i've realised that this why i've had so many promblems with adie because i've always loved you and not just love, i'm in love with you mike, i'm sorry for not saying it earlier, i didn't know how, i didn't know how to tell you, i didn't know myself. i...i'm sorry." with billie now looking directly into mikes crystal blue eyes and falling more in love with him by the second. billie waited for a reply, nothing.
"mike? honey? are you ok?" billie said tentitively as he reached for mike's hand.
mike snapped out of it "bout fucking time billie joe" and mike grabbed billie by the shoulders and passionately started to kiss him. they broke the kiss to get some air and mike said again "bout fucking time" then they spent that night the way they both had only dreamed of.
